Well, we have arrived in Destin for our annual vacation with the Leach Family. We drove through the night on Tuesday night and got here Wednesday morning. We have already enjoyed 2 days of the beach and are looking forward to 3 more days! Here are a couple of pics of our trip so far...

38 Weeks and 2 Days
So, I got an email on Thursday (from a baby website) that told me that Pierce was 38 weeks old. I had long lost count of the weeks, but I started thinking...I had Pierce at 38 weeks (and 2 days) and I couldn't believe that it had already been that long since I had him. It is quite amazing how my perception of time has changed - with my pregnancy, I felt like 38 weeks and 2 days were such a long time, and with Pierce I feel like it has just flown by.
off to London...
sleepover
On Friday night, Pierce had the opportunity to have a 'big brother' around. Pierce and Duncan both loved having Connor spend the night. We all had so fun much.

pierce and macie
Tonight we headed over to the Hall's house for dinner and playtime for the kiddos. It had been awhile since all 6 (7 of us counting Duncan) had gotten together. We had such a great time and are so thankful for such wonderful friends. With Macie and Pierce being on 7 weeks apart, they are so fun to watch as they 'play' together.
pierce and duncan's stay-cation
while justin and i were on our 'anniversary get-away' in grandbury, pierce and duncan had thier own get-away, a stay at grandma and grandad's house. he had so much fun going to see NeNe and Papa Bert, eating at OTB with Tio and Aunt A, and of course playing with Grandma and Grandad. here are just a few of the pics from their night away.

anniversary get-away
since our first anniversary, justin and i have gone on a 'stay-cation' around the DFW area. this year we went to Grandbury and stayed in a fabulous bed and breakfast. the house was 120 years old and had been completely renovated 4 years ago. it was absolutely beautiful. we got there early on friday afternoon and used their pool that overlooked the lake. friday night we went to the historic district and ate at the little steak house. we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning and then headed back to plano. we had a great time celebrating 5 years of being married!
