10 Things that I LOVE About My 10 Month Old:

• The way you give kisses - open mouth kisses like Duncan, of course.
• The way that you clap only moving one hand.
• The way that you cruise around tables.
• That you are teaching yourself how to stand up without the help or support of anything. (You have done it a couple times on your own!)
• The way you love to play with Duncan and chase him around the house.
• The way that you already have favorite foods and always eat them first.
  
• The fact that you are eager to try new foods - you don't always like them, but you always try them.  
• The way that you pull all the books off of the book shelf.
• The fact that you are ALWAYS moving.
• And that you are just so stinkin' cute in your big boy clothes and tennis shoes!

the mccord family loves football - high school, college, and pro and we are so excited that football season has finally arrived.  tonight we took pierce to his first ever high school football game.  we went with the leaches and had all had a great time!

Although Pierce is very much partial to Mrs. MaraLee, he does love it when the big girls are around to play. He really enjoyed racing Caroline earlier this week!

a fresh start...

today was the first day of my 6th year teaching.  i can't believe that i have been 'changing the future of america' that long!  i love that each august i get a fresh start with a new bunch of kiddos.  today was a great day and i love my new class.  i am super excited about this school year!

Happy Birthday, Will!

On Friday night, Pierce got to celebrate his cousin Will's 5th birthday!  Pierce had lots of fun playing with all the 'big kids' and celebrating Will.

the past couple of afternoons, p and i have enjoyed a little bit of time outside.  he loves to sit and play with the grass.  i am definitely looking forward to the cooler weather that should be here sometime before christmas!
