Pierce is lucky to have another dog in his life - Buster.  Buster is MaraLee's dog and Pierce loves to play with him during the day.  MaraLee caught Pierce giving Buster a little lovin' today.

11 Months

Happy 11th Month Birthday, Pierce!

I love love love this 11 month old.  He is so much fun!  Pierce is cruising around everything and has started taking steps - we are up to 5.  He still has no teeth, but by the clinginess,  yucky diapers, and swollen gums, I am convinced there is one right around the corner.  I love his smile and his giggle.  God sure has blessed Justin and I with him!

Justin called today on his way home from work to tell Pierce that he had a BIG surprise for him.  Pierce (and I) couldn't wait to see what this surprise was.  Guess what it was?!?!

trip to Grandma and Grandad's house

Last night, my parents kept P so Justin and I could have a date night and the chance to sleep in this morning.  Justin and I had a great time together and actually stayed out past our usual 'bedtimes.'  Pierce, of course, had a fabulous time getting spoiled by Grandma and Grandad.

"Dunc Dunc"

I must admit - today, I was that really really proud momma.  That super excited momma - yah that was me.

You see this morning while going through our regular routine of saying bye bye to Daddy and Duncan, Pierce said his first word.  Yes, you read it right, my baby boy said his first word.  And guess what it was - Dunc Dunc - Duncan's nickname.  You have probably heard me say before that they are the best of friends, and I was not surprised at all that this was his first word.  He actually said it 3 times today - once at the house and twice at MaraLee's.  

While we pray that his vocabulary continues to expand, we couldn't be happier that this is where is started!

Pierce can't wait til Aunt A and Tio Jose have their little baby!  April 20, 2010 can't get here soon enough!

Cowboys vs. Giants

On Sunday, we headed over to the Leaches house to watch the Cowboy game.  The little boys had a great time playing before the game started.  I attempted to get a picture of Pierce and Brady in their Cowboy gear before the game started - however it is very difficult to get a picture of a 10 month old and a 17 month old.

Birthday Party Saturday

On Saturday, we got to celebrate 2 special people in our lives:  Macie and Papa Bert.  We had so much fun at both birthday parties and are so thankful for both of them.

Saturday mornings are my favorite part of my whole week.  I love just hanging around the house with my 3 favorite boys.

Go Cowboys, Go!

If you know Justin, you know that he doesn't cheer for one football team.  He is the ultimate fantasy player and cheers for certain players.  Most people think he is rather weird for doing this, but I have come to accept it.  We will still spend Sunday afternoon and night and Monday night watching football.  Justin's dad, however, is a big Cowboys fan, so P is wearing his Cowboy shirt today in honor of the Cowboys and PawPaw.
