family date nite

tonight we started a new mccord family tradition - family date nite. we often just hang out on friday night and do our grocery shopping, but we decided earlier this week that we wanted to mix it up. no grocery shopping and something fun for the little peanut. so in honor of one of p's favorite things to eat, pancakes, we headed to ihop. and pierce loved his 'fancy' pancake and drinking out of a big boy cup with a straw. after dinner we headed to ikea to walk around and let p play with their toys. he had a great time and even made it out of there with a little treat. we are excited for next month's family date night and are hoping this becomes a monthly tradition for us.

last weekend we gave pierce his first little haircut. his hair isn't that long, but he definitely had a little 'tail' in the back. justin was an excellent barber and pierce did great.

My sweet baby sister gave birth last night to my newest nephew - and he is absolutely precious! Alison did great and had a pretty easy labor. We are all so proud of her and couldn't be more excited about loving on and spoiling our newest family member.

Since Luke was born after Pierce's bedtime, Pierce didn't get to meet him until today. We headed up to the hospital after church so we could introduce the cousins and of course get a little snugglin' too.

Pierce got to celebrate 2 of his very most special friends, Sydney and Brady, on Saturday. First we headed to Sydney's "All Things Pink" party and then we went to Brady's Golf Party. Pierce had a great time at both parties celebrating his sweet friends!

Easter Sunday

Our Easter celebrations continued on Sunday after church at my parents' house. We had a fun time hanging out with my family, eating yummy food, and of course hunting some Easter eggs.

Easter Saturday

Despite a yucky upper respiratory infection, Pierce had a fun Easter weekend. The celebrations started on Saturday with Gram, PawPaw, cousins Will and Hillary, and Aunt Heather and Uncle Kevin. Everyone came over to our house and we hunted eggs, dyed eggs, and ate lots of yummy food.
