getting ready for stella

today was a our last full day as a family of 3 since P will be staying with my parents tomorrow night. i was never very 'emotional' about milestones with Pierce, but today was definitely a little weird. it is weird to think that the next time I tuck him in bed, Stella will be here and the next time I give him a bath, Stella will be here. it is just weird/different/an adjustment. please hear me - i am so ready to meet Stella and for her to be here. i guess i am just a little anxious and ready to see what our new normal is going to look like...

so we took Pierce to Build a Bear today so he could make Stella and himself a bear. we thought it would be good for him to bring her a little something to the hospital on monday especially from him. he enjoyed most of the process and made 2 cute little bears.

    tears in my eyes. lump in my throat. leave it to me to be emotional for you. What sweet ideas...what a sweet day ya'll had together. love it. praying for you so much sweet friend. gonna kill me to have to wait a month to meet her. can't wait for those pictures!!!

    I know exactly how you feel, although it is so hard to put into words. I remember crying and blogging the night before Kate was born and taking our last picture as a family of three. I will be thinking of you guys! What a great idea for a fun day!

    We did the same thing with Caleb before Eli was born. He had a great time and brought the stuffed animals to the hospital like a proud big brother! Can't wait for y'all to transition to a family of four-- it's so great! Just kind of weird at first. Good luck!
