sprinkler fun.

summer is close.  

close enough to play in the water in the evenings.

and so we played in the sprinklers tonight.

pierce was so sweet to help stella...

first tee ball game

P's first tee ball game was last Saturday. 

Their team did good and they had lots of fun!

working the polls.

voting season is here. 

and we worked at the polling sites today. 

and proudly wore jeff leach shirts and held our signs.

she doesn't know this is coming.  she isn't aware that i'm going to do this post. 

she's asleep--but i'm thinking of her. 

she's so many splendid things for me.

she is not a great singer, but she still tries.
she's a teacher.
she's a partner in all things.

mom's day.

thank you, Lord, for allowing me to be "mommy" to these 2 precious ones.  

they make my heart so full.

and thank you, Lord, for the gift of my mom.

i love her dearly and am blessed by her.

tee ball time

tee ball season has officially started. 

and pierce is lovin' it.

pierce's best buddy, brady is on the team.

these two crack me up.

i was super impressed with how well the kids did.

there might have been some time spent on the ground.

daddy helped p out in the field.

and guess who the coach is....mr jeff!

pierce thinks that is pretty awesome.

and little miss watched her big brother.

and ate snacks with charlotte the whole time.

friday night fun

one of pierce and stella's favorite things to do after supper is play outside in the front yard with daddy. last night we went and bought p all his equipment for his t-ball team, and so he just HAD to try it all out.  and little miss stella didn't want to miss out on any of the action.

a celebration for becky.

becky is officially 30.  :)

and we celebrated her in style with a weekend at the lake.

it was perfect.  relaxing.  low key. and super fun.

it was a little rainy on friday, but it didn't stop us from enjoying some time outside fishing.

justin proved to be a super fisherman and caught a couple fish - one pretty big one.

saturday was spent outside.  relaxing by the lake.
