McFun in Flower Mound

Pierce and I headed to Flower Mound this afternoon to play with some special friends, the McBee's.  Pierce had a great time playing and swimming with Connor and Riley (Ryan, we missed you), and of course lovin' on Mrs. Dana.

Tonight we celebrated my dad's birthday.  We had a fabulous time eating LOTS of yummy food and laughing together!

Aunt A and Tio Jose are moving to London on Saturday for next 3 months.  P is really going to miss them, but we are thankful for Skype so we can chat and see them while they are gone.

just another Monday

Pierce and I enjoyed a very low-key Monday by just hanging out at home.  After his second nap we headed outside to play in his little pool.

Happy Birthday Tio Jose

Tonight we got to celebrate Tio Jose's birthday.  Pierce had so much fun playing with everyone, but his favorite is definitely his Tio!  

P also enjoyed playing with his new toy from Grandma and Grandad.  I know that I have mentioned before how much P loves to stand and try to walk.  He now has a 'walker' that allows him to do all the moving.  The hardwood floors at Tio Jose and Aunt A's house were perfect for 'walking' around on.

Today Pierce and I escaped the hundred degree weather by some playtime at The Shops at Willowbend - one of our new favorite places to play.  Kendra and Macie joined us and the kiddos had a great time climbing around on all the 'soft food.'

I had the opportunity to attempt to be a "mother of 2 kids" today.  Sydney, our neighbor, went with P and I while her mom took her new baby sister to the doctor.  Sydney is a pro at running around this play area.  Pierce and Macie had fun watching and playing with her!

a new dynamic to naptime

being able to stand all the way up in our crib has added an interesting new dynamic to naptime.  usually p loves to stand, but at this instant, he wanted out of the crib.

Yesterday, Pierce and I had the joy of meeting Mandy and Shonna for lunch.  Mandy and I have been friends since kindergarten and Shonna joined us in 5th grade.  It is so neat to have friends that I have known for such a long time.  P had a great time getting some extra lovin' from the girls!

Today, Pierce and I went to play with a new friend.  A good friend of mine from work, Christi, has a little boy, Jack, who is 17 months.  When we got there Jack was asleep but as soon as he woke up, he kept saying "Pierce."  He was so excited to meet and play with his new friend.  The boys had a great time playing together.
