well, we made it to church today as a family of 4. and despite a rather hectic morning, we were even on time. it is definitely going to take a while to get into a morning routine, but i was so thankful to be at church.
my sweet lil' girl
pierce's 'cheese' face
brother and sister
notice the red m&m's in p's hand - just a little bribing to sit with sister for a pic. :)
friday night we celebrated sean scott's 2nd birthday at pump it up! pierce had so much running around and going down all the slides and bouncing on all the jumping things. it just took doing it a couple times with justin before he was off on his own. i love my little dare-devil!
pierce with becky and brady at the top of the slide
i love this pic...at the bottom!
p loved going down on his tummy
playing with kate and brady
justin and jeff with their little girls
an attempt at a group pic - notice my son is the only one standing and crying. he wanted to do the slide again...
my little mr. independent has decided that he likes to pick his clothes out in the morning. this morning we started off with our buzz lightyear shirt and while i was feeding stella he decided that his bob and larry christmas shirt (from cousin will will) would be best suited over his buzz shirt. so...here is my little man with a christmas shirt on in january.
sweet stella is still getting to meet some of our precious friends. this past week, my college roommate heather and her husband blake came over. stella loved all the lovin' from heather while pierce loved all the playing from blake! on friday one of my fellow 4th grade teammates, jennifer, and her sweet daughter, evie, came over to meet stella. pierce had fun playing with evie and i loved the chance to catch up with jenn!
pierce got a really neat play dough set for his birthday back in october, but i have been saving it for my maternity leave. i thought a new 'activity' would be much needed at this time. so, this morning we got the play dough and all the 'tools.' pierce LOVED it and was very much occupied all day with this new toy.
this little girl has captured our hearts. her sweet noises make us smile. we love the way she grabs our fingers when we feed her. she makes getting up in the middle of the night worth it. she has added so much to our family and we can't imagine life without her.
