Since P is into trains right now, we thought it would be fun to take him to see the Trains at NorthPark. He loved watching the "choo-choo's" as they zoomed around on the tracks. After watching the trains for a while, we headed to have hot dogs at a Dallas legend, Wild About Harry's. And I am going to go out on a limb and say that it was definitely one of the best hot dogs I have ever had. Pierce loved his hot dog, but I think he loved his frozen custard more.
One of the things that I really wanted to do with Pierce this holiday season was take him to the Gaylord Texan and let him go through the ICE exhibit. Yesterday we all got bundled up and headed to Grapevine after nap time. It was super crowded and hard to corral a 2 year old, but once we actually got into the ICE exhibit Pierce loved it. The ice sculptures were amazing and Pierce did really well with his parka and the freezing temps.
after celebrating in arlington, we headed to keller to celebrate with justin's family. justin's sister and brother in law always do a fabulous job with a delicious meal and having lots of yummy treats from everyone. the kids loved playing together and of course opening all their gifts from gram and pawpaw.
