Anna Lou's Birthday #2

Pierce's little friend, Anna Lou, had her 2nd birthday party this weekend at My Gym. This little gym was the perfect place for all the kiddos to run around. There was a ball pit, trampolines, swings, slides, things to climb on and in, and lots of fun music. Pierce had a great time celebrating Anna Lou!

Pierce and Some Greens

Don't let the pictures fool you...Pierce isn't the biggest fan of green veggies.

For the Love of Sharpies

Apparently Pierce has acquired my love of Sharpies, however he is not quite sure of the appropriate use of them yet.

Momma and P Date Night

Justin was at a thing at church tonight, so P and I had our own little date night. He is the most perfect date (besides Justin, of course). We had pizza for supper and peanut butter cookies for dessert. And after bath time, it was playtime!

Pierce's new trick - although not a safe one - is to climb on the coffee table. I know I shouldn't have let him do it, but I was so impressed that he could get his little self all the way up there. After taking a couple of pics, I made him get down. :)

Snow Day-Part 2

Today was another Snow Day for DFW. And this time Daddy got to stay home with us. Before we went to bed last night, Justin and I both knew neither one of us had to go to work today. It was so nice to not have to set any alarms and just wait for our little peanut to wake us up. After breakfast, we all headed outside for some snow playtime! We had so much fun playing in our 'winter wonderland.'

And in honor of the NBA's All Star Weekend, we made a "Snow Baller" - of course decked out in Boston Celtic gear!

A Real Snow Day

Today started like any other weekday - my alarm going off at 5:00am. Since there was suppose to be some snow, I turned on the TV before I got out of bed, hoping that just maybe school would be canceled. I watched as live beautiful snow pictures flash across the screen and the news anchors said, "There have been no school closing reported." Bummer, I thought. So I got out of bed and continued with my morning routine, every once in awhile checking the TV. Around 6:00am there was news that some school districts west of here closed, but nothing around here. So, I continued getting stuff together for P and I to leave soon. And as I laid Pierce on his changing table, my phone rang with the news that school was cancelled for the day! So, the comfy clothes went back on and we have been snuggled inside all morning.

It wouldn't be a ''snow day" if there wasn't a little playing in it, right?!?! Pierce and I headed out this morning and had a good little time. He was fascinated by all the white stuff on the ground and falling all around him. Needless to say, he wasn't super excited about going back in.

back inside and wishing we were outside...

Happy Birthday, Jack!

Last weekend we headed to our "weekday stomping grounds," Flower Mound, to celebrate Jack Powell's 2nd birthday. We had lots of fun getting to celebrate this sweet boy's birthday with him..
