a baby shower for baby bentley

my sweet friend from first grade, mandy, is pregnant with her first little baby.

we were able to throw a "little man" shower to honor mandy and bentley.

it was so much to bless mandy with some goodies for bentley.

we had lots of fun with the photo both.  :)

we celebrated Stella's birthday with a few of her little friends last weekend.

just a low key little celebration at the mall with fun, food, and a carousel ride.

stella marie is 2.

sweet stella marie turned 2 today.

i really can't believe that my 'baby' really isn't a 'baby' anymore.

she's a toddler.

a talking, dancing, singing, tantrum-throwing toddler.

but she is our toddler.

and we love her so much.

she adds so much to our family.

Austin.

We just got back from an amazing trip to Austin. We went down there to see Jeff get sworn into the Texas House of Representatives.

It was a perfect 3 day get away. We were with some of our favorite people - the Leaches, the Atkinsons, and the Avituas. We ate lots of yummy food, stayed in a fancy hotel, and even slept in. It was so much fun.

Jeff and Becky gave us an after hours tour of the Capitol. We got to see Jeff's chair on the floor and even got to stand at the mic.

On Tuesday we had the privilege of seeing Jeff take the oath of office. And he officially became a member of the 83rd Legislature as a State Representative for District 67.

We were so honored to get to celebrate with the Leaches and are excited to walk this new journey with them.
