stella's first taste of cereal

tonight little miss stella got to taste cereal for the first time.

she was unsure at first ... but after a few bites, she seemed to enjoy it.

even opening her mouth when the spoon got close.

pierce, of course, wanted to help.

and i can't believe stella is already getting to eat cereal.

duncan's birthday!

for duncan's birthday, pierce made him a plate of some of his favorite things! duncan loved his special treat. and we love love love our dunc dunc!

alison's day

a couple of weeks ago (yes, i am that far behind on my blog) we celebrated my little sister's graduation from grad school. congrats alison! we are so proud of you!

a little bath humor

4 months

i know... it all goes by so fast. too fast.

but really? stella is already 4 months?!?!

stella has successfully transitioned to a 4 hour schedule.

she eats 4 7oz bottles a day and takes 2 good naps.

still loves tummy time and is rolling over from tummy to back.

and is super close to rolling from back to tummy.

stella is a super happy baby.

smiles all the time - unless she's hungry or tired.

still loves to be in a swaddle while sleeping.

sleeps through the night - if you don't count the 4:30am wake up to talk each morning.

has beautiful blue eyes.

loves to watch everything going on around her.

makes our home a very happy place.

we love you baby girl!

13 pounds and 13 ounces (55%)

the best 'job' ever:

being mommy to these 2.

so thankful God has given me the opportunity to be a mom - and even more thankful for the opportunity to be mom to Pierce and Stella. they make my heart so full and so happy.

first swim of the season

it was hot outside.

the water was cold - actually freezing.

but the boys didn't care.

they loved it!

funny story about these two:

karen and tom went to pick up noah from sunday school last week and noah had drawn a picture of his family. they looked at the picture and noticed that he had put down his mom and dad and his brother pierce. so sweet!

WillWill plays Baseball

Our sweet nephew, Will (who P affectionally refers to as WillWill), had a baseball game this afternoon. We headed out to Keller to cheer him on. P loved getting to watch WillWill play and yelled for him the whole time. It was so fun to get to see Will show off his baseball skills!
