Sic'em Bears

Grandma and Grandad treated us to tickets to see the Baylor Bears play the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday evening at the Cowboy stadium. To be honest, we were not expecting a fabulous showing of our Baylor Bears, but in true Baylor Bear football fashion, the Bears unexpectedly showed up to play. They scored the first 10 points and were ahead at halftime. Although they ended up losing by 7, they played great and I was definitely proud to be in my green.

Wednesday in Sweetwater

We enjoyed a wonderful day today in Sweetwater. Pierce had lots of fun playing outside and helping Gram and PawPaw.

a Thanksgiving tradition

Each Thanksgiving holiday, we share a Thanksgiving dinner with the Leaches. This year was especially fun because the boys were able to enjoy the celebration with us. Becky had the boys little Indian shirts to wear and a little craft for them to paint before they went to bed. They had so much fun playing together. After the boys went to bed, we enjoyed a turkey, dressing, green bean casserole, mac and cheese, and a chocolate chip pie for dessert. It was all so yummy! We are so thankful for such special friends!

a baby BOY cousin

Last night Alison and Jose told us that they are having a healthy baby BOY. Luke Anthony is scheduled to arrive the middle of April. We are so excited to share the joys of baby boys with them. And Pierce is super excited to have someone to 'show the ropes' to.
