a white christmas

we woke up on christmas morning to rain - lots of rain - and cold temps. 

by noon, the rain had turned to snow.  big snowflakes.  

the kids were excited - and so were we.  we were gonna have a white christmas.

while we were in arlington, the snow started to fall and started to stick.

but by the time we got to keller, there was lots of snow.

and pierce couldn't wait to get outside with will and hillary.

and by the time we were done opening our gifts, there was even more snow.

and colder temperatures.

so we ended up having an impromptu slumber party with cousins.

and when we made it home on the 26th, there was still snow on the ground.

so before we did anything else, we headed outside to play some more.

pure happiness.
