well....i am home from school today.
i keep forgetting it is friday - feels just like a regular Saturday.
a cold, very cold, Saturday.
ice days are fun, even as a teacher.
i was thankful to not have to set my alarm last night.
however, the crazy ice that is here is not fun.
our huge tree in the backyard is is hundreds of pieces.
branches everywhere.
fence broken.
branches on the roof.
the kids are loving the day.
they love days at home.
i do too.
i am just hoping no more branches fall.
the ice is beautiful.
the stillness of outside is peaceful.
and for the record - i love little ones in winter jackets.
