i love easter.

i love what we celebrate - jesus' resurrection. the foundation of our faith.

the older i get, the more amazed and thankful i am for the sacrifice that god made for us - sending his only son to die for us so that one day we can spend forever in eternity with him. i can't wait for the day when pierce and stella understand the real meaning of easter.

sunday at church we sang a song called "arise, my love." and i can't help but imagine god telling jesus to arise because the grave could not contain him any longer. amazing.
