we had a very merry christmas - even with one sick kiddo.
we woke up to some special gifts from santa - a princess bike and a video game.
the smile below is one of the only ones we got from pierce the whole day...
we enjoyed a simple morning at home just the 4 of us - enjoying our time together.
we opened our presents and of course had to play with all of them.
later that morning we headed over to my parents' house to celebrate with my extended family. this is one of my most favorite things to do. ever. i love that is what i have always done and i love that i get to still celebrate christmas with my grandparents, aunts/uncles, and cousins.
so very sad - pierce ended up with strep throat - but because nothing but the ER were open, we just gave him tylenol all day and he unfortunately looked like this the majority of the day.
sister on the other hand - couldn't get enough of opening and playing!
this picture is so precious to me - it is my grandparents and the cousins. so very thankful for our time together.
after lunch we headed over to keller to celebrate with justin's family. we enjoyed some yummy food, lots of laughs, and some sweet family time.
these 4 love each other and have so much fun together.
and this might be my favorite picture from the allen's house - it is so very typical of these 4. and their sweet grandparents that love them so.
