a little get-away.

a little get-away with some of my favorites.

just what my soul needed.

yummy food, sleeping in, quiet house, girly time, and lots of laughs.

we headed out to jocelyn's parents' lake house on friday at noon.

we spent friday just relaxing.  and eating.

and in the hot tub.

saturday we woke up later than usual.

ate a homemade breakfast - with red velvet pancakes. 

yummy.

and then started crafting.

we made a huge mess. but had lots of fun.

and everyone (who brought stuff) ended up with something fun to take home.

the rest of the afternoon was spend lounging around.

playing hair, makeup and nails.

think jr high sleep-over.

after dinner on saturday, we packed up and headed back home.

some of us needed to be at church on sunday.

and the rest wanted to beat the winter weather/rain.

so very thankful for this weekend.

and these friends.

thankful for their honesty, their laughter, their shenanigans, and their encouragement.
