california

we just got back from a family vacay in california.

and it was amazing.

so many wonderful memories.

as i begin to look through all my pictures, this one from the first day stands out.

we are in palm springs.

with kerri. my college roommate.

it had been SIX years since we had seen each other.

and yet, nothing had changed.  at all.

except that we both have 2 kids now.  

yall...this girl is the real deal.

and i loved every minute we were together.

and it went too fast.

the good news is that we have already started planning our "next time."

and i can't wait.
